This is how I celebrated signing my 15th contract last month! I honestly never thought I’d get a tattoo, but my daughter joked when I signed my first contract that we’d have to get tattoos together after I sold my 15th. Well, 15 sales sounded like a pipe dream at the time…so I agreed! There are 15 hearts for 15 sales. And I hope to be adding more hearts over the years.

What an absolutely beautiful tattoo! I think it was the perfect way to celebrate. Two of my children and I have near matching tattoos and I love them.
I haven’t signed my first contract yet, but I’ll let you know how I celebrate when I do!

That’s lovely! I wish I could get one. My husband would FILP… I’ve always thought a tasteful tattoo was sexy.
When my first book came out, I went out for margaritas with my best friend!! We got tipsy and flirted with the cute Mexican waiter. Can’t get much better than that…until my husband relents and lets me get a tattoo.

Lainey, to be honest, my hubby wasn’t very happy, but he said, if I had to do it, don’t get some little thing, do it right…so I did!

Thanks, Kate. I saw a design I liked with the scrolling design and the guys there added the stars. They were so great to this “tattoo virgin” lol and made sure it was just what I wanted.
