My sweet novella, Something Blue, has been released along with two other stories by Gwen Hayes and Selah March as part of a print anthology called Come Rain or Come Shine.
Don't be fooled by the "sweet" label though! Although the action doesn't move past the bedroom door, there's plenty of passion packed into this little number. Veterinarian Josh Hamnett (okay, yes, he's based on Josh Hartnett, okay? I happened to be watching Black Hawk Down while writing it), is best man at his mate's wedding in New Zealand, but doesn't anticipate the chief bridesmaid being his old flame from his university days in the UK. Kate is equally as shocked to realize she's going to be forced to spend the rest of the day at her old lover's side during the wedding breakfast, for the first dance, and later as they make sure the wedding of their best friends runs smoothly.
Something Blue is a second-chance-at-love story written over ten chapters in which each chapter covers an hour, and it only takes this amount of time for Josh to understand his love for Kate has far from vanished. The novella is also available on its own in digital form, but why not take this opportunity to read all three sweet novellas in this beautiful print anthology? Gwen Hayes' Let Me Call You Sweetheart is beautifully written and laugh-out-loud funny (especially the baked-goods larceny part), and Selah March's Ain't No Sunshine is incredibly romantic and haunting (and who wouldn't fall for the brooding Boone?) With three such wonderful stories, you can't go wrong!
