A Change for the Better

Love it or hate it, change is inevitable. As the saying goes, nothing ever stays the same and that’s truer today than it ever was. We barely get used to something before it’s updated, or something new and different comes along. Sometimes it’s a good thing, and sometimes, yeah, not so much. But, on whatever end of the spectrum it falls, we usually don’t have any choice but to accept it.

Recently, I heard the very sad news that one of my favorite authors, Elizabeth Peters, had passed away. It started me thinking about her books and all the pleasurable hours I’d spent reading them, which of course, brought on an overwhelming wave of nostalgia and the urge to read her books again.
