I’ve been on a re-reading binge lately. My TBR pile is ever-increasing – seriously, if it wasn’t 90% digital, I’d be worried about ending up on an episode of Hoarders – but still, when I reach for a book these days, invariably it’s one I’ve read and loved before.
My husband doesn’t understand this phenomenon. Why do I need to keep books I’ve already read? Once I’ve finished them, what’s the point? Even though he’ll sit down and watch the same movie over and over, a book doesn’t fit the same category for him. Once he’s read it, that book is done for him.
